I’m not adverse to a bit of supermarket shopping of the non-food variety, but in the past it’s mainly been kids clothes that I’ve successfully picked up along with the weekly shop. But, this week, when I popped into my local Sainsbury’s store, I had a quick browse through the Tu clothing range and was really rather impressed at a few pieces I saw. So, ok, it meant I didn’t just leave with the loaf of bread and pint of milk that I’d gone in for, but when you see a bargain (or two or three), it’s hard to walk on by… Here’s my Tu at Sainsbury’s shopping haul, let me know what you think…
I wore this earlier in the week and got SO many compliments on it, isn’t it fab? Stunning colour, looks great with jeans and I’m so impressed with how super-soft and comfy it is. Oh, and warm too. 60% cotton and machine washable, this is going to be my ‘go to’ knit for long walks after big lunches! Sizing wise I would normally take a 10-12, with this jumper I opted for a size 12 as I wanted it to be quite slouchy and it fits great. Unbelievably good value at £18, I just love the striking colour block design and, did I mention (let me mention again!), it feels so soft and cosy.
Check Longline Shirt, £20I’ve been harbouring a desire for a checked shirt for a little while now, but still not landed on the one I want, then I spotted this and at £20 it’s a no brainer. PLUS, love the green/yellow check colourway – not a normal colour I’d go for but it felt like something a bit different for me and worn layered with leggings or skinny jeans, it’ll be a great smart/casual look for lounging in this festive season.
Khaki Longline Knitted Cardigan, £22Sticking with the green and gold, I also couldn’t resist this long-sleeved, long-lined knitted cardigan. First thing you need to know is that this is SO SO SOFT. Honestly, I can’t stress that enough, it is going to be perfect for getting my hygge on! Another great layering piece for lazy days, this will be great worn with jeans or leggings and a plain tee or shirt. Love the two front pockets design too and the shape is super flattering. Plus, the gold gives enough glitz factor to appropriately and stylishly nod to Christmas.
Would love to know what you think!
